WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT? The Speculum Examination Wedge is a 100% Heat Sealed wedge that helps lift the pelvis up to make a pap smear examination easier. There are special air reservoirs on both sides of the wedge, that will fill with air when the patient’s weight is on the wedge. Without these the Heat Sealed seams would burst when the patient’s weight is on the wedge. The reservoirs are covered under a Pelican patent application. WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR? Suitable for use by patients who are having a pap smear. BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Place the Wedge on an examination bed or examination table to use.
