WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT? The Over Door Arm Exerciser is designed to help post-operative patients regain arm movement. It is made from webbing and hooks over the top of a door, and has hand loops. WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR? Individual instruction should be given to the patient from their healthcare professional. BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE The Exerciser can be positioned over a door. When the door is closed the top webbing is jammed in place. A loop is attached to the top part of the Exerciser which can be hung from a hook instead of a door. There are two adjustable hand loops. When exercising, the person can put their hands inside the loops in a comfortable position, so that they do not need to hang on to the loops. To use the Exerciser, the person may be facing the door or have their back to the door, and they may be sitting or standing – consult your Health Professional for guidance. You should use your good arm to assist lifting the weak arm, then lower the weak arm back down by raising their good arm. WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT MADE FROM? Nylon webbing.
