Description The Quake 10B is the latest development of the original Quake 10.0 tactile transducer. Although the original Quake 10.0 was no slouch, the improvement in performance is awesome! The Quake 10B is rated at 8ohms, so you no longer require a high current amplifier to get things happening. In fact, this new design has increased the efficiency by some 400 percent over its predecessor. Add to this the increased excursion and you have 50% more output with significantly reduced heat build-up. Operation is super quiet and only requires 300WRMS to be at its best, although you can run it at half that quite satisfactorily. Insane power to shake you – One Quake 10B can easily replace three, four or more typical shakers. That’s enough for a substantial two or three seater sofa or even a sizeable platform. Quake transducers are maintenance free and almost indestructible.
